We are the Mendo-Lake Branch of Sonoma County DSA!
Sonoma County DSA has generously helped us get started as a branch within their chapter. Once we accumulate enough members, branch members will be able to vote to evolve into a separate chapter, two separate chapters for Mendocino and Lake Counties, or continue operating within a coalition that would include all three counties.
In keeping with broader DSA work, we are building towards mutual aid campaigns, electoral work, protest work, community building, and fighting for working class power in Mendocino and Lake Counties. If you believe in working class solidarity and fighting for social justice, join us! Many hands make light work.
As a recently formed branch, our top priority is getting people to know each other – that includes both new members, and those who have been at-large members for years. We’re planning and scheduling events throughout our vast territory – then we can focus together on what projects we want to take on to improve our communities!
(Members who join DSA from Mendocino or Lake Counties are automatically added to this branch of SoCo DSA!)
